@bod001

Have you tried using a different COM port? I had problems with COM 4 so I used COM 5. Perhaps you should try COM 9 or something?
I suggest you unenable the COM 5 in MPM too.

Man this thread has grown!

I bought one about 2 months ago and never managed to get it to work successfully. It just sits there on the front of my PC blinking at me.

I feel tempted to have another go now though!

Let see what happens eh?

I have just downloaded the file you mentioned @Epedemic.

It is version 1.2.2.4.

What's that all about?

strange it says 1.2.2.16 here... still cant flash firmware... so im stuck with version 272... gotta wait for bluetake to release something (or at least wait for them to give me access to their ftp to dl drivers (stupid that you have to give them the mac adress for your dongle so they can verify you)) i can connect to 2 serial ports with the t68 and 1 to the bluespoon (which still is producing garbage sound... anyone got an idea here???)

I have just installed the Tecom package mentioned above and it works perfectly with my MSI BT key ... and guess what ... I can now transfer pictures etc from my t68i to my PC.

I downloaded from the Tecom site was called BTW12216.zip (there are a few different versions at http://www.tecom-us.com/asp/support.asp?Navi=SoftwareDownload). This package is Widcomm's version 1.2.2.16 and they seem to have fixed the Object Push Profile.

Now when will MSI release their own packaged version of this new software so we don't have to download from another manufacturer ?
