£200 PAYG ? i doubt it, not for the first 4-6 months of the W800's life it wont. In fact, it probably wont even be on PAYG, rather pay monthly for the first couple of months.
Maybe by January it'll be around that price.

Pricing, as read in the Daily Mail, (UK Tabloid), the W800 will cost around £200 as a PAYG phone for most networks.
Hi there... sorry if this has been asked already, but is it likely to be roughly the same price for contract phones? Does it make a bit difference as to how high your contract is?

Hi, and Welcome to Esato!
It will probably be cheaper than the PAYG price (the PAYG price could be more than 200 pounds noone is fully sure), and if the contract monthly bill is higher then the initial phone price is likely to be less.
For example, if the W800 cost 350 pounds PAYG, it would cost about 250 pounds pay monthly on a 20 pounds per month for twelve months tariff, and could cost about 50 pounds per month on a 75 pounds per month tarrif. (these figures arent accurate

)
So the more you pay monthly, the less the phone will be initially.

Thank you! That's what I was hoping...
I'm a Sony Ericsson virgin to be honest (been a Nokia girl up until now - sorry) but having recently bought a Sony Vaio, and loving music, the W800 seems to be an all round winner - I've read through the topics on this forum & they've just proved to make me want it even more! I think I'm going to hang onto my old phone until it's available!
