@MLAM
I'll take your advice with the 'if it aint broke dont fix it' since my phone is fine on the previous firmware.
I know it may have been covered before but what actually does the new firmware improve?
Thanks

Changes discovered so far:
- images are stored faster on the Memory Stick (MS)
- general speed improvements
- maybe small improvements on volume and network connection quality
- new autofocus confirmation sound
- new "Mp3"-folder on MS
- correct translation of month names in calendar (may only apply to german language)
- some fixes for 'freezing' mobiles

Again, can anyone confirm whether the font used when typing a text message has been changed to a smaller one (as in viewed messages are or as they are on the K700)?

I've got the D750i on T-Mobile. There doesn't appear to be a firmware upgrade for this phone yet. Anyone know when to expect it?
I guess the K750 upgrade would work but I'm not going to risk it. Has anyone tried? I've had know problem with the phone so far.

Have you found an answer to your question? I wish to do something similar.
Anyone?

D750i is located here:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/s[....]5_7&zone=ps&lm=ps1_1&pid=10244
I installed it last night on my T-Mobile (UK) D750i and no problems. The K750i update will NOT work on the D750i so you cannot use it.
Also, if you change your theme, does your mobile jukebox icon retain the white background colour? Mine does :/ They didnt set the background colour to transparent...
Spoke to SE today and they replicated it and said they would email the development people to see if they can make a fix for it in the next firmware release.

You have to go to a local Service Center and ask very kindly, and maybe they will do it... But they don't have the right to do it actually
But last month my local Service Center changed a language on a k700i for a friend of mine
