I've just managed to wangle this deal from o2:

*£14 per month
*500 anytime any network mins
*500 texts
*FREE samsung D900
*FREE bluetooth headset

Absolute bargain I say!!!

Good luck fellow cheap-tariff-hunters!

Just wanted to make sure my deal with o2 was a bargain so I looked up a few places online and found this:

http://www.solidmobiles.co.uk/

The tariffs seem quite amazing! Some are equivalent to an entirely free phone and line rental!

Have any of you heard of this company?

There must be something cheeky about them to be so cheap!!

Ok guys my girlfriend is trying to upgrade from o2 but she's getting told bulls**t like

" we don't do discounts anymore"

" we can't give you any phones free"

"you can't get that tariff"

She's been a customer 4 years and spends about £35 a month, Is there anything I can do to help her get the best deal?

I know vodafone allow users to give account access to family/friends, so do o2 do this as I want her to get the same deal as me.

The best way I found for gettong a good deal it to ask for a PAC code. Say you have seen a better deal with Vodafone or orange, etc and in my experience they will do all they can to keep your business. I managed to get a free K800i and £10 knocked off each month and I was only 9 months into a 12 month contract.
