@ semicon ppl: can a blocked t68i by NTC be unblocked by ur tech guys at any of ur branches just 4 a fee? wondering kse we just got robbed e. reported da problem already 2 NTC. thx

IMEI blocking kasi works on a carrier based system. If you had an openline unit, all they have to do is use another provider's SIM. Kung SIM-locked yung unit, then they will have to have it unlocked in Greenhills (but seeing as this is an SE phone, it might just get busted if they try to unlock it) then either use a Globe/Touch Mobile SIM, or have the IMEI number changed.

*Having either the phone unlocked, or IMEI number changed will most likely damage the unit. (Specially SE phones) IMEI number changing can be done, I've seen it in Bangkok... pero mas madaling bumili nalang sa Bangkok at dalhin dito. I've seen Globe & Smart SIM locked units being sold in Bangkok... just like I've seen Orange units being sold here in Greenhills.
