@Mario, you're welcome bro. I wonder why those pics were taken down? This message was posted from a Nokia

Taking away pictures is becoming a habit on Esato, I have noticed it on a few threads where pictures are no longer there. Wonder why.

@Kryptik, I got your message will keep on trying, hope will succeed, tell me if it works for you.

You're sounding like the Head Slavedriver now, boet. Only he mixes his metaphors, so every new term we hear, "Time to get our shoulders to the grindstone" and our "Noses to the wheel" This is pretty rich coming from a guy who uses an 1100 and thinks it's God's gift to cellular technology...

@ Kryptik,
LOL,I know the types!
My brother-in-law and his wife also have Nokia 1100's and seem to be on a pathetic quest to convince the world that they know better,ie.
"..I mean,a cellphone is to phone and sms with, what else do you need a cellphone for?"
Or ,"Oh look how superior this 1100 is compared to my old 5210,I've got 140-plus sms's and my inbox is still not full!Such technology!Amazing!"
Give me strength and a lotta patience. And infinite wisdom to show these extended-family clutchplates the error of their ways...

The saddest thing is,no matter what you try show or do,they know better, even if you prove them wrong.Shame.
Either some kind of epitome of dogma or suffer from major insecurities; very obvious chinks in the character-armour.
Hell,I ain't perfect, but at least we are mature enough to admit when we cock-up or are proven wrong,or don't pretend to know by bulldusting or whatever.
Oh,and learn from our mistakes.'Character-building' is a nice euphimism...

Anyway, good luck with the third term, mate.

Thanx bro, appreciated. I know precisely what you mean... My numpty Head Expletive couldn't wait to show me he knew how to login to Yahoo on his home pc to check email. When i showed him a few days later how easy it was to do the very same, and far more on a phone it was like i was from Planet Zog. The chap actually got when i explained to him that there are handsets capable of doing a lot more than mine can. Of all my colleagues, only ONE actually uses a phone for more than just calls. She owns a D500 and after i helped her with a few things she sends and receives mail, reads The Herald, etc. Merciful heavens, there are primary school kids from Motherwell who are more knowledgeable than my so-called intelligent colleagues... Scary thought... This message was posted from a Nokia

Yea. And funny enough, they always seem to use the excuse that we grew up with this technology. But then i ask you. . . . How long has gprs been around? I guess we are pretty young then.

At least i got my mom to search for and download her own wallpapers and ringtones rather than paying exact mobiles excessive fees for what she wants.

Well, for the first day of a new term this is bad; out of a possible 95 kids (2classes) i've only 6 in school owing to the COSATU strike. http://www.theherald.co.za/herald/2005/10/03/news/n01_03102005.htm The upside is that i'm flying thru some new work with those present, the downside being that i'll need to repeat it when the bus system is functional once more. The nice thing is we've been told we're dismissing at 11a.m.
