If you try to go through the SEUS process on the website after you've updated through the new standalone SEUS program, it comes up this message "Fatal exception ocurred. Program will exit". It then takes you to a page saying "Error in communication with device". Just tried it there to see what it would do.

Phone updated with the soft v2. During the process, i had a "script error".
Now soft updater tells me i have the most recent software but the phone is totally dead. Doesn't start at all.

are you using a new client?
k750 emea_2 updateable!
one tip: if new client keeps failing to recognise the phone, like in my case, dont listen to the instruction and keep holding that 'c' till it does.
also flashed with the sim with no adverse effects, so as someone else wrote earlier, the recomendation is prolly there to make sure phone has been completely powered off.
