yes home n alive. shooting at dawson college montreal today. very close to my university and home. streets are flooded with cops and sky with helicopters.

I watched in cable the life story of Mother Theresa . . . I was really touched . . . she really cared for the homeless - kids and those who are sick . . . I saw this female volunteer from UK who went to India just to join Mother Theresa's crusade . . . she dedicated her life to .. . charity!

The name bombay was derived from the name for the local godess "mumbadevi" bombay was a cluster of seven islands in the previous century and was mostly inhabited by fishermen called "kolis". The british found bombay as a nice harbour and reclaimed most of what we see today and decided to call the place "bombay" the english version of "mumbai". In 1995, the hindu nationalistic party shiv sena decided to "officially" rename the city to its Indian name. This although was considered a political gimmick.

it was supposed to be changed to bengalooru but i don't reckon its gonna happen coz bangalore is the english version and bengalooru is the local kannada as well as the colloquial name
