i know this post is about c905 but since people are currently talking about ccd vs cmos-i have both the s700,k750 and k850 and most times the ccd equiped s700 produces better outdoor pics than both the k750+850.

well..........c902/c905 CMOS sensor knock i-mobile902 CCD quite far away at daylight conditions and even macro......
dosent understand why some of you guys naging about CCD ???? i-mobile902 ccd sensor produce weaker colors & sharpness at every landscape, etc, ive seen. (mostly depends of its cheap optic). have never seen one i-mobile902 picture with C902 cmos quality...thats for sure.
if you want a good CCD camera...buy A REAL CAMERA THEN...ex, Sony cybershoot DSC-T serie ...dont buy a cellphone for the love of god...
(AND LETS GET BACK TO TOPIC PLEASE)...this thread is for the great upcoming 8m.p cmos sensor c905 features. (not some ugly, cheap thai-phone

)

To me, disscussing cmos vs ccd is on topic, since the c905 uses an exmor which is comparible to ccd (a bit

)

How is exmor comparable to CCD? Exmor is just a CMOS with a name.

plankgatan ignored my question again... Since he doesn't want to refute my claim about him lying, it means that I was correct

Here's a center crop from the same photo:
Let me know when your macro shots look like this

Go back and check. It was you that
brought up the i-mobile 902.
In your mind there is only one camera phone with CCD? You seem to have some kind of issue specifically with this phone. Why? Because (almost) everyone says that it beats all SE camera phones? And you don't like this kind of talk?
. . .
I'm dying to see a shootout between the C905 (8 MP EXMOR CMOS) and the Sharp SH-01A (8 MP CCD).

@Abu Basim:
Seems like not all people will have the same opinion

he's the only person i know here who is so persistent about believing CMOS being better than CCD. Let him believe what he wants to. people here know how superior i-mobile 902 camera (specifically the ICX-495) is

and I do believe Sharp SH-01 eats all 8mp CMOS phones alive
@vipera: at least to be fair, put it not only against SE but to nokia, motorola and samsung(outside korea) as well - LG have KG920 which uses the same sensor in imobile
