Looks like it has takings from Beibei, Paris and the K850. It was probably developed around the time of the K850 but later it was decided to split it into what then became Paris and Beibei at a guess.

obviously that phone is, as goldenface said in the other thread, just a test-bed, or a 'very' early proto. Do you really think they would have released it with the design left at that stage?

Walkman software on WinMo isn't going to happen. Maybe some weird thing like the media panel in X1, but imo that's a lot worse than the normal Walkman player....

Here is what i think will happen on the 28th (based on news on se etc)
Idou-Obviously this will be announced as SE said themselves idou "will be announced before the summer",
Reese-More than likley announced with expected integration to popular social networking service my space etc. If not announced Reese will probably be cancelled.
Walkman-W995 will be the last high end walkman from se, so midrange walkman all the way, i would be suprised if 4.0 is announced because this could ruin the W995 chances because why pay for a high end if a mid range has newer smarts? unless they place it with a basic 3mp snapper which i doubt. So possibly a LG Cookie style Walkman with a new OS, probably A300 as A300 will no longer be of use for high end so cost wont be as high.
Cybershot-One cybershot coming this summer (c903) and thats it so far, so a cybershot looks definate, with the rumours going around about a 8mp candybar, the candybar seems likley.
Bravia- Mentioned a while back, probabably long enough for a Bravia phone to be availble.
X2(5?)- Apperantley a X1 rehash, possible WM 6.5 as eldar maid mention of manufactures not intrested and stating all manufactures except se, so possibly? However X1 is an "experiment" and SE have decided to drop one of the OS's and WM looks likley to be dropped.
Low end- Usual Low end J series phone to be announced
OR
Se announce splitting and Sony going alone
