now the owners of p990i can you tell me hows the speed when it comes to bluetooth cause when i transfered a file to m600i... it was slow man !! not very fast...!! it does take time !!..so i want to know is it the same shyt wid p990i? am pretty upset with the speed or eles that phone must be crap!!

OK Indiandawg, I've just tested the Bluetooth. I sent a 2.61MB picture file from my laptop to P990i via an USB bluetooth dongle. The speed is approximately 31KB/s (It took around 83 seconds to send) Infact, the speed of the bluetooth is not that fast, I don't know if it's because of my dongle, it's a Bluetooth v1.2 Class 2 dongle, capable of transmitting a distance of 100 meters. I'm not too impressed with the slow transfer speed... or maybe it's cause P990i is v2.0 device, and dongle is v1.2?? Who knows why? Well, there you go, the answer for your question.

need more test to be done i guess !!

You've answered your own question. Slow transfers will be because your dongle is only BT 1.2 rather than BT 2.0 + EDR.

It's sim-free... I bought it for about 580 euro... with a Vodafone/telenor contract for 18 months for about 20 euro a month... witch I can use to call for.
Without the 18 month-contract it was around 700 euros.

You've answered your own question. Slow transfers will be because your dongle is only BT 1.2 rather than BT 2.0 + EDR.
Bluetooth 1.2 is suppose to be capable of transfering at 723kbps. Therefore, it MIGHT not be the reason.

hey i am from india mumbai. even i have been waiting for this handset since ages.can u pls let me know from where do u intend to buy this handset?.i am getting tired of my 910i and need a alternative desparately but till DATE i am nt able to find a good alternative for my 910i. SE ROCKS!!!!
