the pc experts pls tell my y its takin the laptop almost 60secs to completely boot up (frm time pwr button is pressed till all the stuff loads in the taskbar). i really dont have all the stardard junk runnin on startup.
also when i do ctrl+alt+del i get msg sayin admin has disaled task manager, wtf? i am the admin!!!! help

yes i got ccleaner and ran it many times. also got registry cleaner pro, spybot etc etc. scanned for viruses too. wat else can i do (besides install linux)

@dheeraj, I'm glad you're advocating the use of linux, but it's just not there yet. I once installed red hat 20 times in a single day on my pc back in 98 and i got my mbr corrupted

. I'm not crazy about it now

. Back in the day people used to ask me can you play need for speed 2 on it. I've installed ubuntu on a virtual pc, now how do i play need for speed most wanted on it? I'm also thinking of installing mac os once they get a decent amd patch for it
