I go with a 4.3 device
I espect a device with a normal size and good features and specs

Nexus 10 goes for around $200-225 USD.. so it's much more expensive.. at least for an american like me
where are you getting that price? I probably bought like 15 nexus 7 in pass month and I paid around 230 each for them. Nexus 10 is listed for $399 - $499. whihc is a good price range for a 10in tab. I dont think Sony should fight others on price on the bottom end. Make a kickass 7in & 10in at the high end, sell less but make more. Sony should go back to being a premium brand. Same goes for the Vaio line, the low end ones are crap anyway. Let the chinese beat each other up toward the low end.

Bezel is needed on a tablet, otherwise where do you hold it to ensure you're not touching the screen? Phones are one thing where minimal bezel is alright, because they're so small. If you gave a large tablet like this a bezel like the Xperia ZL, it'd near impossible to hold it properly.
Anyways, it looks good! Wish we had side pics
EDIT.
Upon closer inspection, you can see the power and volume controls are now on the left, rather than the right. The power button is designed like the Xperia Z as well. It appears there are port flaps on the left side and bottom, which would support the theory that the tablet is actually waterproof, rather than simply splashproof like the Xperia Tablet S
I hope it's a real pic of the final design!
