I think the production version of that render could be awesome. They could have it in matte too. SONY needs something like solar charging to have some kind of an x factor. Any idea how feasible and efficient is solar charging in a phone?

but it looks like cheap plastic... not premium glass/metal

A poor fan concept. the matte polycarbonate is depressing, no class, like it has a cheap sillicon back case. More things make it poor but i'll stop here. I haven't seen a good xperia concept in years.
Imo the next design needs to have high quality metal black and sides or a bravia design or as a transition to other design make omnibalance with symmetrical top and bottom and bezel-less sides. Would be awesome, that is for next years high ends as z5 design is going to be similar to z3+ with small changes.

Seems like everybody needs a Plus version these days....IP6+, S6 edge+, One M9+...
