More CDA-based findings of R1KC001 (or may be eversince the R1BC, R1ED, R1GB, or R1JG):
-In Europe 5, in Texting, the A,Aa, a indicator is placed more to the right side.
- In APAC the indicator is placed more to the center of the screen.

I have never experienced phonebook duplication. Are you sure you don't accidentally ' restore contact back up from M2 to the phone?'

there's a Bug in R1JG001 Firmware.
when you listen Radio and TURN ON SPEAKER, next if someone call you, the phone does not Ring, just vibrate. I see in older firmware version this don't' happen

Yeah, exactly the same for me, right down to the CDA and current firmware version

it's not a duplication as in actual duplication of the entry. it's just there, and when you try to delete it or something, the phone will restart itself. and i'm very sure it's not a memory stick backup.

i guess you'll must have seen the new version of seus....
its definitely way better than the previous versions.... u get to select your phone here.....
though i doubt there might be an option for selecting the personalised update for a different region

I am using R1GB001 on my K800 Orange branded phone in Romania, and I find it very stable, as for the video bug you can view them in a list mode and there is no preview, so the phone doesn't "crash".... anyway I'm not a video fan.
My operator excluded from this firmware the Blog and the Update Service options beside and of course the icons , but I very pleased with the phone as it is.

hey i have a few questions for people who have upgraded to R1Kc001 via wotan...
1. the upper left key next to the earpiece can it be used to scroll images in standby and in the file manager ?? has this been resolved?
2. by pressing the '#' key the available writing options didnt have numbers in R1JG001. has that changed in this new f/w?
i have faced two problems in R1JG001
1. the contact pictures stopped displaying all of a sudden. after setting the picturs to the contacts again the same problem happened. it was resolved only after restarting the phone.
2.when new messages would arrive mesage alert would ring but no pop-up or activity menu would be displayed. messages had to be opened after going into the inbox. the new message symbol was shown on top of the screen. after restarting the phone it was all right.
so this new java system dont seem that stable....
also suppose i send a msg and leave the phone as it is , auto keypad doesnt get locked due to the delivery report/ i have to click ok for the delivery report and only then when the screen is free of any messages the keypad locks. this was present even in R1GB001
