e_erzan , where did you find the farfield_play.apf from w810i? I already read through 20+ pages of this thread (believe me, I did) and didn't find it. Care to share with us? I'd like a loud loudspeaker....

Specially for you...W810i acoustics:

These drivers seem to be identical to the R1BC dirvers except for farfield_play - which I have downloaded and am testing. I would say these drivers are from a w810. There are no changes to PHf_X_play files. So, still no fix to the hissing with PHF headphones. The only change I see in these drivers is the Speaker replay. I've downloaded it and it seems the same as previously posted w810 driver. I'm not sure if it's louder but it seems OK to me on my W800.

The_BEST_acoustic_profiles drivers are very good U can hera the startup sound and shutdown so loud, call sound is also good and the sound thru headphones is quite good plus mega bass is superb.

I guess there are good piece of drivers but choice is urs mongoose sound is very loud and u have to tweak equalizer to get the best sound.Mongoose drivers are great.

In my opinion if u want good volume as well as good bass u can opt for The_BEST_acoustic_profiles its good

Give a try

hi peeps!

I just want to ask if what files are to be tweaked to increase the volume when using MPS-60 or the protable speaker for the w800 since it is not detected as a hands-free device.

any help?

thanks!

I gave the full suite a try. They are not the best. As far as playback through headphones goes the hissing/crackle/static is just as bad as the original R1BC driver. Not surprising considering every PHF_xxxx is identical. I also compared every other driver in this set to the orig R1BC files and only 5 files are different. Not one of them is related to playback through the headphones. For the record the 5 files that change in this version are: BT_HBH-65_call.apf, Farfield_play.apf, Farfield_ring.apf, handset_0_call.apf and notedoub.cfg. At best these files are affecting playback and ring through the speaker and perhaps sound of call through the phones ear piece. Farfield_ring.apf has little to no effect on ring volume. In fact if anything the Ring may have been slightly softer with more bass - which would make it harder to hear the phone ring in noisy areas. I didn't test the handset_0_call.apf and I've got no idea what notedoub.cfg does. Farfield_play seems to be the only worth while file in these drivers as it would seem it does increase the speaker volume.
