Where do we place the 7 digit postcode files when we have it? In the TomTom folder?

@francobanco
All you have to do is extract all the TT Nav6 files into the root directory of the media memory, as soon as you remove the usb cable it will ask you if you want to install the program.
Just make sure you put the files and directories in the root and not into another folder as it doesn't seem to work if you do.

@ skicraft: I've done this on my W950. It asks about installation, when I press OK, then it close down in 1 second and nothing is installed.
What could be wrong? Please somebody help, since I've been tryin to get this to work for 2 weeks.

I couldn't get TomTom 6 to install on my w950i to start with. Here's what I did if it's of help to anyone:
* Connect phone to PC with USB data cable.
* Put phone in Fast File transfer mode.
* Copy TomTom files & folders directly to the root of the media drive. (install.bif should be in the root)
* Once complete remove USB cable (don't change transfer mode or turn off phone but make sure files have finished copying!).
* When cable is removed phone recognises the new files copied and asks to install TomTom.
For info: voice files go directly in the TomTom folder, POI files directly in whichever folder your map/s are in, postcode file in a folder called zip to the root drive.

@flizzy
Not sure what is causing that the only thing I can suggest is that you ensure that all other applications are closed prior to transferring the files and installing.
