I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but they seem to have sorted the key lock function when listening to music and receiving a call; If the music player was on full screen and you picked up a call, you would then not be able to lock the keypad unless you used the drop down menus. This seems to have been fixed.

Help. Does anyone know, in the new firmware, if you hold the back button for some time will you get a dialogue or straight to the standby screen(like the old firmware)?

Because if you will get an additional dialogue I don't think I will update this firmware.

You do get this dialogue, but only when leaving JAVA apps.

If anyone notices that R9K009 is available again for GW1, please post, as I'll be interested to know.

When you guys say the keyboard has enlarged, how big is it? Is it too big?

Also can anyone verify how is the multimedia volume in the new firmware? Cus my old firmware's volume is quite loud even if minimum when listening to radio, and if the volume is even louder in the new firmware I might as well not update it!

Help me quick!

I think they're referring to the virtual keyboard, I just checked (as I don't rarely use it), and it does indeed seem larger, the buttons as well as the text area above it now take up about 2/3 the screen. It looks usable enough to me - the buttons are big enough to press with fingertips rather than having to use the stylus, so I'd say it's all good.

Media player volume sounds about the same IMO...

Was that quick enough??

Media player volume sounds about the same IMO... I could be wrong, but it seems like there's more increments to the volume slider, which will mean you can get it closer to zero without turning it off.

You're welcome...
