@J273, yes, your contract has already started. In fact I already received an email that my bill is on its way. but... you'll have 2 weeks to return the unit if you don't want the contract

I simply went to an apple store shop, and because im only 17 i cant pay for the contract myself because i dont have a job so i cant go on contract. And i basically said to the girl in store i would like to purchase the 16GB but i cant do a contract, so cani take it home and get my mum or dad to activate it. And she said let me go ask. and i stopped her at that point and i said how about u come with me and ill take you out to dinner after? and she said yee. i paid my 159 and went.

The way apple have set it up means you can't get the phone without a contract its that simple.

Typical they plan to put it on Pay and go around Christmas when you probably cant get one as they will sell out in 5 mins. Pay and go gets 2nd best as normal. I read it was coming soon i hardly call Christmas soon.
