I'm currently using w980_for_K850_beta_3_by_Luhcass_(loud)
Everything is freakin' LOUD... except the call volume didn't change a bit..

The w890's is even worse..

Ready. Something I have done. I installed the "acoustic driver" of w980.
What remedy: higher-volume loud (at max. You break the ears) and a much better clarity in cast hf, it sounds cool, and to improved volume and clarity of sound in conversation, to something fixed and the quality of sound on "MegaBass" but not very much.
What has not been corrected: the quality of sound in speaker (by volume between steps 6-8 with audible distortion and all high-pitched).
So, I reached the conclusion that the fault is the speaker. In a phone so elegant, they put a speaker of the whole trouble. There is not calibrated on the volume max. phone and therefore, with volume at max. membrane begins to vibrate, and distort sounds and songs. Also, this type of speaker is quite small and because it can not play the bass, influencing playing sounds (playing high-pitched). Here we do not have what to fix. Maybe only change with another speaker from other SE models, which would fit naturally in w910. May that would make it on that. For example, older gen models K500 and W850 are net superior sound quality in speaker. Even W810 and K750.
What do you say? It could replace the speaker, with another from another phone model?

no. the w910 speaker performs much better with modded acoustics, but only for normal. megabass is still too much for the poor old thing

@jigonx
Does your Media layout work for our lovely C702? And while I was looking around here I noticed a modpack for C902 by 0kti. Will it work too (for a C702 I mean), or do I need something else other than the Uploader?

Thanks a bunch

Excuse my noobness.

But....

Can I debrand my C902 with this ???
It's locked to O2 so I would like to alter some of the shorcuts for a start.

yep. I need to get a look at a C902 branded file system to tell you exactly how. There will be something like a right_desktop_hook.itm in the custom folder and a corresponding folder with the same name in the custom folder.
If you delete these files you will get rid of the right softkey branding. This is just one example, it may be different with your branding. You also might need to do a master reset after deleting I can't remember. I haven't done it since the K800 - my W910 was debranded with Davinci - I couldn't wait for a free method

Basically the hook folders (and the xml files inside) determine certain branding elements. When you do a software reset a phone (master or settings reset), it extracts the hook xml file from the itm file from "custom" and places it in the "custmenu" folder.

Also, you can get rid of branding in the menu by editing the menu.ml file within the "menu" folder. You can get instructions for menu editing in my menu modding thread: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=153990&start=0
