There is 512mb of ram on the Pro & I never run out of ram do not worry. Depends how many apps your running if your pushing the phone to it's limits it will run out

I realise that, but why only when kepad open? - I just cant help but think sometimes the accelerometer is faulty. Just feels incomplete.

With the latest OS update on the 2011 series, there is much more efficient app management. I've seen a marked improvement - my phone used to lag with less than 80Mb ram now it runs as smooth as butter with a lot less and I have some big ass apps running.
Now, with the latest update I hardly need to worry about what apps I have running. Google certainly know what they're doing.

That's weird. According to phonearena both phones should come equipped with 512mb of RAM. Yet, when I run the quick system info app. it tells me that the phone's equipped with 335 mb of ram, and when I check the "running services" section of the phone the numbers add up to 317mb total. Am I missing something, or is
shortselling the public?
Sorry for being so paranoid, it's just that memory managment is kinda important to me since I like my apps to have their breathing room.
