Perfect Explanation... Absolutely Nothing To Add !

P.S: Can Screaming, Crying, Fighting, Deny... But the Absolute Truth Is That The 808 PureView PRO Is The Biggest Technological Revolution In The Mobile World In The Last 5 Years !

I don't think that the 808 can beat a full frame 2012 DSLR in any conditions... that is simply not possible. It comes very close to 2010-2011 mid range DSLRs in certain conditions, and it comes somewhat close to 2012 mid-range.. and that ratio diminishes as you go further up the DSLR range.

Like I said.. it comes close enough, to where most people won't notice a difference in day to day photography.. I am one of them, and do consider my self picky when it comes to image quality.

Here is an example. I've put the original files and the resized 8Mpix images in a folder here: http://sdrv.ms/QtmqIC or here: https://skydrive.live.com/red[....]!1551&authkey=!AH2X8DK_LRMmMoU

You can download them by using the "view original" option or clicking on "download"

One of the photographs is taken with top of the line Nokia D800 .. its a full frame 36Mpix 2012 model DSLR... high end stuff. It costs around 2500-3000 dollars.

This is the same scene, same time, was also taken with a Nokia 808 PureView at full resolution. The 808 costs around $500, it is a proper smartphone... the while camera module with the lens on the 808 is probably smaller than the viewfinder on the Nikon.

So.. if you have no idea what you are doing, would it be smart for you to spend 3000 for a camera ? No. If you are a professional and you are willing to sped another 3-4k on lenses on top of the 3k you spent for the body... sure, the d800 is an amazing DSLR. But look closely at the pictures... is the difference worth 2500 dollars ? Not to me...

Like I said.. the image quality vs. size ratio with the 808 is insane.

Here are the resized photographs. Both were resized using the Lanczos algorithm, which is used by the 808 in real time during PureView mode. Its important to note that the image from the 808 was taken with "normal" jpeg quality setting, which sets the compression at 85% .. superfine would be much better @ 95%. I believe that the D800 shoots at 98% or 95% .. I am not sure.

Ive got to admit i prefer the 808 shot between those two.

The rock in the middle is a little burnt out compared to the Nikon's effort however.

Damian Dinning Leaves Nokia !!!

http://www.gsmarena.com/damia[....]tive_november_30-news-5120.php

Nokia Is Increasingly Decadent And Bankrupt, That The Unic Department Finnish Giant Total Supremacy Before He Exercised His Competitors, Is Not Over Your Head Straight !

Given This Framework,

Even Until I a "Convinced Nokian" Lost Enthusiasm With Brand, For Your Cameras Were The Only Thing Keeping My Loyalty!

For This Lumia 1001 (Last Smartphone Nokia) In What Was the Front Dinning Conceived And Executed Every Project Is My Last Smartphone Brand !

In Summary, Here Lies a Nokian !!!

Hes not dead you know, you sound like you're reading his obituary.

Anyway, Nokia is a big company im sure they've got plenty of other experts up their sleeves who're capable of innovating further with their imaging sector.

I personally dont think Dinning was solely responsible for all good that came from Nokia or to do with their cameras, but im sure he played a key role.
