Anything to do with AUO is something to get excited as Sony and AUO are pretty much in a "high level" partnership for mobile screens, LCD panels for Bravia/Vaio, and OLED panels.

Is this the display that will be used for the H2 flagship?

Bit off topic but the Nexus 4 was just announced, that hardware at that price! Will Sony follow this or do we still expect the same high prices? Are the prices of these components starting to come down or is it simply a Google strategy?

Its a Google strategy.
I think their aim is to stampede the annoying US carriers that have screwed them over, while simultaneously setting a new standard for pricing of Consumer Electronics, while maintaining superb build quality.

Shame that Sony haven't been made an official partner yet, but damn, do I hope they are at some point.

It's a Google strategy. They want to present devices with powerful specs for a very competitive price point, and they want the OEMs to do the same. And that's another reason why the Google Play Store is not officially available globally, IMO. There's a high chance that their Nexii, with their very cheap prices, would trump down the sales of their OEMs and they would lose their support.

Unfortunately, we didn't see a Sony Nexus. They chose LG because of the Optimus G, chose Samsung for the Exynos 5250. If Sony gets it right for 2013, then we might see the Xperia Nexus.

Haha, well, if they ever make a Nexus Camera, I think I know where they're going to go. Most, high-end smartphones (Including the Nexus 4) use Sony's BSI Sensors, with the exception of Nokia.

Could the CES/MWC phones come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean or not right out of the box?

7.6 million units .

The Nexus 4 and Optimus G do not. They use camera modules from LG Innotek.
The Nexus 4 and the Optimus G have a below average camera.

According to the video, the LG Optimus G's camera includes "High Accuracy PKG technology from LG Innotek," which according to LG's website grants it small size and better accuracy, among other advantages.

So the Nexus 4 and the Optimus G are using different BIS sensors.
