If by A11 and A12 you're referring to Apples SoCs, then I would wager you're straight up wrong. Apple with their mountains of cash have poached so many quality chip designers, and are light years ahead of Qualcomm. At the very least on the CPU side. GPU wise they're competitive, but the Cyclone cores designed by Apple offer straight up better performance.

They're not ahead of Qualcomm, they're just making bigger chips. And even with properly optimized iOS, iPhones fail to beat the best Android flagships in the actual speed tests. It is paper performance.

Both have their reasons..
Single core is brilliant, it's easy to implement in software, but the more performance you have the harder it is to get more performance from the core without sacrificing power efficiency. one of the challenges is when you reach a specific threshold then the design becomes inefficient duo to wasted resources ( mis prediction for example ) that's why it is wise sometime to implement SMT in order to make use of that wasted resources in other threads. but it still remains harder.
Multi Cores is easier from engineering POV, it takes a hell much less engineering to put 2-4 or even 8 cores to work than to make a single core that can match those multi-cores designs, but optimising the software to take advantage of those cores is also hard, and also it depends on the workload, some workloads are highly parallel which can make an efficient use of multi-core designs, and some are not because they're too serial, and some workloads are a mix of both in a way they can make use of only few threads, but also benefit more from single core performance like games.
So, Apple depended more on single core performance which has multiple advantage in the mobile world specially that their iOS took long path toward multi tasking compared to Android, the later in another hand make use of multiple cores very well duo to the nature of the OS and it's multitasking friendly usage.
The problem is Android SoC makers moved quickly toward multicore because it's easier and quicker, but Software side lacked the benefit from all those cores, so except when multiple apps is being used we don't actually making use of that power, only few applications really make use of all the resources the SoC can bring. and the worst is most multitasking scenarios doesn't work the way we think it will work, it's a mobile OS after all.
I really hope SoC makers doesn't move toward too many cores, the big.LITTLE concept is very nice to help bring the performance when needed while maintaining low power when not needed. but now with 4-8 cores with processing clusters are more than enough with the kind of multitasking and usage scenario Android is bringing/offering. I hope for more single core performance but still with the current design of two processing clusters.

We have now 9 separate modelsat uaprof awaiting for announcement: 3 high-end and 6 low/mid-end.
This year models were presented usually 2-4 months after appearing at uaprof.
Will we see tchem all before or at MWC or is it possible to delay tchem till IFA? How it was in past?

I read this somewhere, just dont rembember exactly where. Maybe DPreview, reddit or other.
Someone on his comment said Xperia cameras acts like the Sony cameras.
Even the post processing was similar, just different quality because is Phone vs Camera.
The icons ( manual, auto, panorana) etc are the same ..
My brother has a cam, he is not photographer but owns a Sony.
I saw it on the camera.
Do ppl from camera division do the phone cam software?
