in the video the zoom range stops at 138mm, but I have the impression that it is "truncated" deliberately so as not to reveal the real focal length.
Let's hope it is so. And hope the rumour about 170mm is true or even longer and not the 138mm
The video did show the lens not fully retract. Nice!! We have hope!

Sounds promising. I'm more excited about the announcement this time around.

I doubt super wide and periscope are LYT600 and LYT500. Sony like to have same resolution across all cameras, they explained that couple years ago. Why using 12+ 12.5 + 12.5? I dont buy this story. If they drop 563/650, then I would bet on dual 858. There was rumor for mark 4 that they tested 455 for periscope, it is main cam of mark 1, so 1/2.5" is not impossible while keeping current size.

Wish sony still packaged earphones with the phones specially now that they have a headphone jack they should have put hi-res earphones with them. Checked out some of their available headphones the last affordable hi res earphones they made were h.ear in 2 which have been discontinued in most of the world and their widely available earphones top out at mdr ex 650ap which aren't hi-res, the cheapest hi res earphones that are widely available are xbaz5 which will set you back an average $700 like half the phone's price. Tws are good but they just can't match the sound of wired earphones. Heck your regular earphones which are usually half the price of tws will sound better than many "hi-res" certified earphones
