Can't you get a PTT for your shotgun? I think they're quite lax now. You can even get a PTT for your rifle as long as you're a gun club member.

about two months ago we tried PTT for our 12-guage, from the shooting-ranges of NorthStar (where we're members for now) and much earlier also tried ToughGuys in cubao, no luck. not yet allowed, they said. During the last gun-show we also inquired, and all indicated no luck, not yet allowed. but yes, you may be correct, at around this time they may be lax. tomorrow we'll ask around again.

i'm sure you've been to the BlackRifle forum of GlockTalk... nakaka-inggit, ano? i've had many offers of those babies before. and now, seeing those items they have...makes me think of getting one too.

Yup they're quite hard to find and pricey nowadays. The Bushie's go for about 150 K but the Elisco's can be had for about 25-40 K if you can find one.

i've had blackMarket offers of Eliscos, yes, and they're unbelievably cheap that it makes me suspect a lot of wrong things with it. (as you know of BlackMarket-style sale... no test, just pay up) but speaking of elisco.... are they any good? should i get one, and then just upgrade piece-by-piece like a 1911, para lang mag-karoon na ako (that is- if the parts are compatible)? or is that a bad idea?

No, its an excellent idea. Elisco receivers are very durable and provides a nice base to assemble the M-16 or M4 of your dreams

Hi guys,
I'm not a gun expert (I don't even own a gun), and I've only fired several rounds from a 22LR Llama and a 45 cal 1911, but I really like to know about guns. What I'm wondering is if any of you have tried shooting a .50 or .44 cal Desert Eagle (wicked gun). I'd love to hear first hand description from you experts on how it feels (weight, recoil, grip, etc.) Also, is this gun sold here?

Hello and welcome bro batangueno:)

Blackspot
I haven't tried Desert Eagles but I hear that they do tame the recoil of the .44 mag due to its gas system. I do have a Ruger Super Blackhawk which is a Single Action Revolver in .44 Mag. The recoil and muzzle blast is awesome. It can be described as a rearward push with the muzzle rising up to almost vertical. Its one of those things that you have to experience to appreciate. I'm sure the recoil of a Desert Eagle is milder. They are available here but the supplies are scarce. Check it out in this November's gun show

@doc
Wow, I'd love that! Is there already a definite schedule and venue for the gun show?
