Is this the Powerakku Li-Poilymer 1100 mAh battery for £12.05? If so, have you noticed any disadvantages in using it over the standard SE battery. I was under the impression that SE phones didn't 'like' non SE batteries and went into some sort of safety mode when charging, which meant charging takes a lot longer?

Apparrently its been tested by SE.
It does take a little longer to charge but thats normal because its a higher capcity so it needs longer.
Its been fine so far, no problems whatsoever.

I did it...
1. debranded one K700i
2. debranded one F500i
3. upgraded one K700i
Used the indtructions that were in program. I finally got some shitty chinese cable that worked (still no DSS support).
Ask me if you want anything!
Take care

Uhm... actually no you can not check... I checked with ComTest from B&B electronics... to see if cable is fine, but I guess you can not check if it is data or unlock cable, anymore (you could do it before in older versions with default username and password, but that is disabled now).
Take care

If it works with floats mobile agent then its a data cable NOT a service cable, but you can of course convert it like it says in this thread

@ Anish1905
hope you made a screenshot... send it to anyone you bought your credit from. Than you'll get your credit back and support from them.
Be sure your battery is full, you use the latest version (1.30) that you chose the right speed and that you follow the instructions.
Hope this helps

i couldnt take a screenshot. I have asked them to refund the credit don't know if they will i bought another one anyway.
Is this the right way to do it on 1.30
click on repair/unbranding
select K700_R2AA003_ZONE_1.K7S
select K700_R2AA003_EU1.K7D
then flash
The question is do i do them both at the same time?

I did them together... No problems... You try first firmware and than default language - follow the instructions on
http://www.totalserver.net
It will use only one credit anyway...
Be sure your battery is full and your phone is off. I didn't press the power button when it asked me I just plugged the cable in the phone - only then.
