I have R3K004 and i have the following problem:everytime i go to:MEDIA PLAYER,the random play of songs is turned on,even if i turned it off the previous time!Everytime i access the media player,the random play is on & i have to disable it manually!!This drives me crazy!!Any solutions?The firmware,by the way,is installed correctly by a service center,so there's no problem at all caused of its wrong installation!Any news about a newer software?Did anyone e-mail SE to ask them?Please,do it someone,i can't!TIA!

i had the problem of the phone losing conection i found a master reset sorted it and it updated fine the next time,be damned if i can get it to connect via se file manager though or phone conection monitor!,mind you i tried a unupdated one and it wouldnt connect either?!?

So how are you connecting the phone to your pc to update if it wont connect via phone connection monitor??

Edit:
It appears other people have had this problem and can still update their phone even though the phone connection monitor is flashing yellow.

the phone updates fine in the cradle you only need the drivers for the DSS-25 installed to use the updater with the stand, not the s700i sync software or file manager it just will not talk to the se desktop software,my p910i does just fine so i know its all set up ok jut a s700i thing it appears which is pretty poor luckily i have a sony vaio so i can just put my memory card in the pc to transfer pics otherwise id have toemail them!

i finally got the seus to work only to find out that an error occurs again that says "There is currently no service for devices belonging to your operator". i understand that people got this msg as well that have used davinci to unlock their phones. so this means in order to get a fully unlocked phone, recognizable by seus, i need to unlock it again using another software(setools, total multiserver?)? pls help

You are correct. The subscriber that provided your phone has locked it so that it can only be updated by a SE service center.

You will need to unlock it completely.

has anyone managed to use seus to update a voda-branded s700 after having unlocked it with setools or total server? i just want to remove whatever davinci left out so that i can update with seus any time and not having to buy credits for whatever program.

Why is it that when I get the to the window that says applet started, there is a download of the seus software, but when the download is complete (can't do rightclick, save), nothing happens ?????
