Well i will post a pic of my bike soon, but riding a Decathlon Road Pro with Quintana Roo Carbon Forks, Bontrager Race Lites or Vuelta Airlines (depending), Shimano SPD-SL, plus full Shomano Groupset....
Considering moving onto "tubs" but a puncture is a bi*ch!

See.... i hope one day i'll be more into the whole road bike thing as you clearly are! i really do enjoy getting out on mine but it has sat in the garage for 2 years now and i am 3 stone heavier as a result
So i am hoping to get back into it and shed a few pounds in the process!
so for now i guess the peugeot will suffice!
You are doing the paris trip aren't you?

I think you find you could back into it quite easily.
And i am doing the ride - thanks for your donation.
If i had the money, i know exactly what to buy.
I am possibly going to have
THIS before i go.
With the Ride To Work scheme - its possible

That bike is gorgeous!
What is the ride to work scheme?
I wish i had more to donate and i may well have before you go, i really admire what you are doing and i am quite envious, your plight is what spurred me into getting my bike back out with the hope to one day doing something similar!

Well maybe next year. The endeavour next year is much bigger. Fatreg and i have joked about London to Madrid - thing is i think he may be serious.
And its a great bike. I also like Cube bikes, but they are well out of my range...but this would be my choice...
