I unlocked my silver k750i today in a mobile phone shop. cost me £7. Also debranded it earlier with davinci. So now i have a silver "sim free" k750i.
All in all, it has cost me 13 quid. Anybody wishing to unlock their phones should do it, because i have no problems with my phone. And im not sure whether unlocking will be available on davinci.

Been trying to get a working unlock code from Orange Unlocking Team for 4 weeks and they cant seem to get one that works - nearest code they have is for k700 which obvisouly doesnt work. They contacted SE about it who so far havent responded. Madness!
Ive scoured the net for a code but cant find one. Anyone got one perhaps?

In my experience, Orange will only release an unlocking code after your contract is up for renewal (usually 12 months), and even then they charge you a tenner!

ok guys im tryin to debrand my 750 with the cable i got with it usin da vinci ,ive got the latest client,got the usb drivers,got the credit,got the firmware files,ticked the boxes pressed flash and........Detected SonyEricsson: K750/D750..........an thats it,nothing else happens,it stays on 0% no error messages no text nothin. i e-mailed the guys @ da vinci but had no response,just wonderin if any1 had same problem an can shed a little light

Client Version 13.3 - K750 Flashing
Turn off the phone.
Hold "C" button and plug USB cable.
Phone Attached!
Detected SonyEricsson: K750/D750.
Execution Time - 00:00:12
Error: 0x002A21
I found that the USB FLASH device appears in the device manager for a few seconds then disappears when the phone is plugged in (off with 'c' held down).
I think this is a problem with the phone since I never had this problem before, but after I had my phone unlocked (in Malaysia) the phone came back unlocked but with R1J APAC_1 instead of the R1J EU_2 I had earlier... never trust dodgy shops!!!!
HELP!!
..and before anyone asks, yes I have uninstalled, reinstalled drivers, restarted...... no luck
Now I'm going to try out an SEUS update based on whatever bastard CDA they've put on my phone and see if this fixes it. But my browser (IE/Firefox) just shows a blank white screen after downloading & installing the setup program. Help there too please?
All I wanted was an unlocking. That idiot shop gave me an APAC_1 shit bonus.

I am almost sure its battery.
If you or anyone having the same problem, is technical enough to use direct power source to battery contacts, check my picture.
Open back cover with 2 screws, than gentle remove back cover. red wire = + approx 4 volts.

try using IE instead of firefox, had the same white screen problem before (though I havent flashed my phone) it worked for me.... duh never open your phone....unless you want to get rid of warranty.....bye... ...and btw, the SEUs checks both your IMEI and CDA , so even if you flashed the APAC1 fw with EURO_2 fw, after doing update...you're back with the original fw, ....
