Possibly wont be for a very long time if Tmobile are anything to judge by. They tend to be the very last to release the latest phones but ill say this though, id rather not get a network branded handset, the things they do to butcher their handsets is nothing short of amazing. They tend to mess up the functionality quite badly ie take the m600i on Vodaphone, lovely phone but totally ruined by the network branding, they have disabled quite a few features on the phone.
Now Tmobile are just as bad, i had a W810i from them and it was so terrible that i ended up getting it unlocked, as they lock their phones to their network and also de-branded it and got rid of all that crap they put on.
Now the phone works perfectcly fine and is a complete utter joy to use.
If i was you id pick up a sim free model, yes it will cost a bomb but is so much more worth it.

joel, yes, the status screen is the one that shows the amount of free RAM memory. This is the problem with P990i... having only 15MB at boot time
Btw, did you managed to see how's the BST-33 battery performance when using WiFi?
