people have different budgets. they will all have different prices, some prices will suit some, some wont... and the phones are in different categories/markets, w880i is
for music lovers, the k810 is just there until sofia comes, just to give something 'new'
for that time frame as k800 is getting old. the k800 has sold well enough and i think
know the k810 wont sell HUGE. or maybe it might... and sofia will be a different phone all together. so dont think announcing sofia soon will be much of a problem regarding sales of w880i/k810i.

Hey guys. Here's what i think. The k850 will have a totally new ui or use uiq3.1. Obviously SE don't wanna release the phone with bugs so they decided to release the k810 as a temporary solution for those looking for a fresh design. I think the k850 looks absolutely great. Its totally different to everything else on the market and signals some sort of new interface. One of the main reasons we buy SE phones is for the intuitive interface. We can only imagine how cool the interface is gonna be. In previous years SE were forced to release phones with cutting edge technology as they were trying to penetrate the market. These phones were released with very early firmware tho (r1a etc). Now they release phones with much more stable firmware because they are in a position to do so. Anyway, please stop complaining guys. The phone will most probably be releases early 3q. SE dont give a damn if nokia gonna release the n95 becoz that phone is gonna be expensive for first few months.

It's just far to different from the past rumours for the pic to be of Sofia.
The K800 successor and could be named K850. 5 megapixel camera with xenon flash and QVGA recording. Not entirely like the N95 in terms of technology, but more mass market. Same size as the K610 with a metal based body and metallic keys (thicker than that of the Ai/Na/Li). 2.2 inch scratch resistant screen. EDGE and UTMS. Will be out by Q2, maybe even Q1 to not let the N95 have too much of a head start. May begin shipping in the week beginning on April 9. Will not be a smartphone and will not have optical zoom.
No it's meant to be the same size as the K610, it's meant to be made of metal (which this is not), metallic keys like the K550 or W880, 2.2" screen (not 2.4 or 2.6"), and the backward setup of the lens cover. Note that it isnt meant to be a smartphone either.
The recently leaked pics are highly likely not to be Sofia.
As for the other pics, I can imagine it being a very early Maria. Read between the lines:
1. sofia needs pretty long and extensive testing, more so than the k800i at its time (hint hint hint hint), they expected the phone to be leaked, and when it's leaked, they want it to be leaked in the most unfinished and unrefined manner. for example the w660i leaked was uncolored and without tattoo (if you get to see the back of that proto)
If it isn't Elena, then it has to really be an early look at Maria

but do you think that the different between Sofia and this proto is duo to
try to make proto designs far away from final ones ??
or this is completely not sofia even when considering
proto new designs strategy ??

And definaitely I'm confused about everything. The W950 was going to get a replacement with a camera, maybe they're putting reall buttons on this time, and a 5MP wouldn't be a bad idea for something so high end. The again is anyone sure of the size of this supposed Sofia in the pics and with Xumedo's posts how's anyone supposed to know anything.

if the design is true and real, then the back cover is only some glass or transparent plastic over the camera and flash to protect both from dust and thumbprints...
