There has been very little confirmation of what Sony Ericsson X10 updates will contain.

From the way things are going with Adobe, I'd vote never lol.

Over 50,000 phones pre-ordered in Japan before official release?

http://k-tai.impress.co.jp/docs/news/20100401_358337.html

and since when do you see lines for SE products
http://twitpic.com/1ce38x

If the pre-order numbers are correct, well, thats a very large number before the device had even gone on sale... good to hear...

I received my X10i this morning and my first impression is "WOW". This phone is amazing. I live in NYC and i'm using T-Mobile 3G and the phone handles things very well so far. The screen is very bright and the colors look great. The whole 65k colors worry goes away as soon as you see the display in full brightness. Don't care about multi touch so i don't worry about it. I'll try answer any questions you guys might have but i won't write an in-depth review on it since its really not my thing.

It is capable of Flash 10.1 and if SE don't give it in a software update adobe should.

Thought you may be interested in some video test footage I shot with the Xperia X10. Very impressive. Nice to see the AAC codec included which makes for some clear sound:

Hi!

Could you try out 2 things, please:

1. Is it possible to turn off UMTS (3G), so only GSM/GPRS is used?

2. Do you have a Notebook with Bluetooth connection where you can try out using the X10 as a modem to connect to the internet?

Thank you!

pre-ordered mine with Voda as they were first to mention it, and supposed to have it first.

Now they won't tell me when it's coming (I'm assuming Tues 6th) and it seems O2 have them in stock already as a friend is getting his tomorrow.

Gonna have a walk around the retailers in a bit & see if they know any more. I wanted to play with it over Easter

Yes it is...

I got my handset yesterday... From a person who has comes from using an iPhone 3G + 3GS (for over a year)... I'm impressed by the X10...

In my package I got a case x2 screen protectors (1 has been applied) as extra...

I will try and answer any questions you may have...
