Hi, both my pics are with "gxg driver", first with nightmode and LED, and second LED only.

gxg,
I think that in camdriver 7.11 autofocus is slower than in 7.7_final!
What you can say about it? I like colours in your driver, but autofocus killing me

May I join this party too? I know I'm late as first yesterday I started using FAR Manager mostly in order to improve to low JPEG quality K750 utilizes when MXE-60 is mounted.
I have been reading the discussion here as well as in Se-nse forum, where I found how to edit the quality settings. While I edited the camdriver0.dat file I also took more than 100 test shots of my test target, a stillife, with and without MXE-60, in Night mode as well in Normal mode. I had my K750 mounted on Cullmann Calamari mini tripod in order to keep the framing and distance exactly the same during my test session.
First I changed ambitiously all the three value settings to 95% (5F Hex) only to find out it won't work. I managed to reach 92% quality while shooting my still life at 70cm distance, but as soon as I tried to change exposure compensation ("brightness adjustment") I faced problems. So I just had to accept the 85% value setting mentioned in Se-nse forum. Here's the screen print of my edited driver file:
Then I jumped into this thread and uploaded camdriver by gxg to my K750. It worked well during my MXE-60 test shooting. As I opened the file it looked very different to the original and unfortunately I couldn't find out (=understand) which quality setting this version has for MXE-60 shooting. There are hex values ranging from 5A to 41, but not sure at all whenever MXE-60 is included at all. So far I have not noticed samples taken with MXE-60, only with LEDs.
Take a look at the quality in terms of JPEG blocks and how "smoothed out" they are. You probably know that an image saved in JPEG format is divided in 8x8 pixels blocks, which content depends on the quality setting during saving - as well as on the details and colors inside the particular block. Note the marked 8x8 block on these 400% details (for easier detection).
So I personally would like higher quality setting than this "x%".
Also a observation to note is that driver version by gxg do exposure slightly darker, equivalent with -0.3 exposure compensation on original camdriver, based on luminosity values on the histograms. Is this minor underexposure intentional?

ToryXX,
I have to say I have focused my time on this MXE-60 quality issue so much today that I lost this day for further testing. So, too early to comment the qualities under other light conditions - tomorrow maybe. Stay tuned...
Well that 0.3 underexposure is kinda positive thing as K750 originally delivers slightly overexposed rendering of middle grey, according my tests that is.
