For those who have the X10, and who have los of contacts, etc - Im interested to know if there is any noticable lag in using the UI. My W960 became soooo slow - partiularly around my SMS inbox and I couldnt bear that again!
Also is it possible to text in landscape with a bigger keyboard layout - some reviews I have seen suggested this was not possible.
Lastly, is anyone feeling the buyer's remorse yet or is the X10 everything you wanted?

@Tejstar
Nice vids thanks....
Just one quick question, in your unboxing vid, you seemed to show an MW6000. Did you get one with UK stock, and if so is that because you are one of the testers chosen by the product blog?
Thanks

The one I unboxed was the Nordic version that seems to get the best goodies (16GB card and MW600). The UK version only comes with an 8GB card and no MW600 unfortunately.

It did not come with a screen protector or the MW600. :(

Got my on T-mob UK yesterday and have been playing with it since.
Initial impressions:
Very fast UI, no noticeable lag.
Screen very sensitive, takes a while to get used to.
65K screen is excellent colour wise even thou it's 65K.
Feels a lot lighter than it looks.
Battery seems to be holding out pretty well.
Camera very good, I don't think it's on par with the C905 but the few snaps I have taken are very good, and bearing in mind the photos I have taken are under cloudy skies.
Lack of MT not an issue at all - browser is very slick and the "preview pane" zoom in the browser makes up for lack of MT.

Today i've decided to test out the battery to its limits. I'll watch movies, listen to music, and do as much with the phone as i possibly can just to see how the battery holds out. Later on i'll let u guys know the results.

Hi guys. I saw this on SE Dev World yesterday. Cool Android UI Features Coming soon to your apps for X10 mini. http://developer.sonyericsson.com/wportal/devworld/article/newsandevents-latestnews-x10tutorialsteaser?cc=gb&lc=en . This might apply to the X10 aswell if they both have the same screen hardware! Check out the video - very COOL! Also to the guys that got their X10's, could you please report if you can make Bluetooth voice dialling like on previous SE phones? Thanks!

that's a pretty old video. BUT... i do hope they add the little eyecandy tweaks to the X10's timescape. I don't think I remember seeing the tiles bounce and pop like on the mini.
Also, I'd love to be able to scroll through photos on a 3D wall like that (coolris style). Would be good if they could also implement pre-caching of photos so you don't have to wait for the photo to load when you're just flipping through.

That'd be greatly appreciated Bankai123. My main reason for getting an X10 is that my 14 month old iPAQ 910c can't hold a charge when stressed with anything even moderately energy intensive (such as listening to MP3s or using 3G or WiFi data). So knowing how well the X10 does in regards to battery life is essential to me.
Just to let you guys know, I asked Sony through various means to clarify whether the screen is 16M color capable and whether the screen is 'mineral glass' or simply 'scratch resistant'. I got
this reply via Twitter about an hour ago:
16m colors, no. 65,000 colors (I counted myself) - yes mineral glass
So that clears those questions up.
