Hi,

I was just adding a calendar entry which automatically got deleted afetr looking at it. When I went on Reminder and typed the reminder in it said that Invaild Reminder and tried again but this some jumbled up numbers came up.
Anyone else notice that (BTW R1JG001 o2)

I just picked up a k800i, and having owned a K750i a while back, I came to realize that there are times that the newer firmware isn't always the best (they downgraded the k750i photo and video quality at different points, and I was mad that I had upgraded).

I've looked over the firmware release notes, but they don't always give the nitty gritty details. So I thought I'd toss it out there... which is the best for cam performance... if there's a difference at all.

I've got R1GB001. Should I spring for the newest firmware?

Cheers,
Andy

@ AndrewSMcD

hi i think R1GB001 is probably better than most fw's that have been released.....
you should stick to it...
the only problem is that you may crash your phone if you have too many videos stored on it....
the only major bug in this fw was the video preview bug
other than that its quite stable

cheers

R1JG001 now available on SEUS for 102511/83 EUROPE_2

The correct firmware seems to be loaded - none of that horrid Hutchinson branding that the last 102511/83 version had incorrectly added to it...

Try to fully uninstall SEUS from the PC. Install again and rerun the update. Good luck. If necessary, choose other location rather than UK, say USA, and let's see. Good luck.

Tried that and it made no difference!!!

What now???

Question for those on R1JG001 who have generic firmwares...

On my phone with earlier firmwares, the "Internet" button wouldn't immediately go off to the Internet if accidentally pressed.

With R1JG001 it seems to have been changed to the instant connect if pressed.

This update was via SEUS. Not Wotan et.al. Do others see the same? New Bug? Something weird with my phone?

@Misko2006, The only way currenlty is to use Wotan server to update the phone to R1KC001. SEUS currenlty doesnt have this version.

@Mal M. This is not a issue but has been mentioned quite a few times in many forums.

From what i beleive its down to the software version (Manufactured) or (Geniric) you have on the phone.

Also Many people have said when they install from SEUS, then the internet button caused a delay when pressed. However normaly doing a full instalation stops this from happening. Its also down to the network and branding.

I hope this helps.

I found a nice feature has disappeared in R1JG001: Before this release, if you had your handsfree headset connected and set the ringer to silent, the ring signal was played in the earplugs instead. This feature is gone in R1JG, and the music or radio is only muted when a call arrives. Has this feature come back in R1KC001?
