Nah too gimmicky. Its no faster than pressing a volume key rapidly twice.

The accelerometer is not for that purpose. iPhone's got a sensor around the earpiece for that purpose. Can't remember if it's infrared, ultra sound or what it is.

or you can just lock the phone by hand. not as slick as the iphone sensor thingy but does the job.

If you really want that feature, then pay for it with your hard earned dollars and BUY the iPhone. Oh wait? The iPhone doesn't offer this or that or cannot do this/that or things that are very rudimentary in other phones/smartphones?? I thought so. Until more is revealed with the Apple iPhone SDK its still jsut a PHONE! Not a smartphone. Its capable but will it & developers deliver on that promise? Time will only tell. But This should be the last of such silly request in a K850i Firmware thread. If anyone wishes to post such requests & complaints that are not capapble in the K850i? Then create another thread or post in one specific to that. PLEASE!

The iPhone is such a piece of shit... for the money it costs. If it were more like $200, then I'd buy it. Who cares about 8 gigs of space? 16 gigs? W/E.
Back onto topic, when the firmware does come out on SEUS, please do a good evaluation of it, since I am no longer an owner of a K850i.. I'd love to hear what was fixed.
