if your w800 is originally k750 seus or seus2 will not work for you it is the imei that will not be accepted.
on the positive note davinci just began releasing full red firmware for k750 so w800 will come soon as well.

Just now, I tried copying about 20+ JPG files from my MS using the phone (connected thru USB) and after copying about 12 files I got a Windows error that a file being copied no longer exists. When I check the disk drive of the MS, it shows nothing (as if it's been disconnected). I disconnected the cable, and tried again. No error this time.
It seems there is still a file transfer problem with the latest firmware.

Another thing I noticed is that saving a recorded video takes more time now (time between you pressed 'Stop' during video recording, and when the 'Send' and 'More' options appear onscreen.) I'm still not sure about this but it seems there's been a slight drop in the bitrate of the recorded video.

I'm using a W800, R1AA008 China firmware, branded (Smart Communications).

I used the SEUS II app and updated my K750i EU2 to R1AA008 sucessfully.
What does the 1EOW under customization for EU2 stand for?

Well, i was finally able to update my w800i. I used the stand alone SEUS II application.
First thing i noticed with the new firmware, is the speaker volume...improved big time.
I'll let you know any "major" changes i come across.

I am on Orange and I can't get SEUS 2 to work for some reason. No Java/Flash issue, I have no problem going from:
Start -> Term of Use -> Connection Type -> Follow the instructions screen.
But I can't get further than that - I followed all the steps:
1) Turn off the phone (unplugged)
2) Remove the SIM-card
3) Replace the battery
4) Help the "C" button (the one right of the joystick, correct?)
5) Plugged the USB connector
6) Wait until the phone is on
7) Stare at the Start phone/Music only start up menu on the phone.
During the entire time, I am still looking at the Follow the instruction screen on my PC.

@TooNice, I also wondered about that while updating. The first time I did those instructions, Windows installed some drivers for the USB flash and stuff. Then I waited for something to happen, but nothing did happen. So I pressed back and did the instructions again. This time, after plugging the USB to the computer with the phone off and me still holding the C button of the phone, a message on the Update application appears (something like Release pressing the 'C' key...). The phone remained "off" then for the rest of the update process.

- Character search is also now available in the File Manager.

Hi hgkeh, I'm from Malaysia too, just tried SEUSII and it didn't update my firmware to R1AA008. Still stuck at R1NA005. Did you use SEUSII ?
