I couldn't care less about viewing angles (never bothered me with Z), but here is good one I guess:

mine is pretty much like that, C6906, what launcher is that?

Maybe I missed it, but where did you get the C6906? Thanks.

Canada, C6906 is for the NA market.

@ rency0722

ah, yes online stores do not offer those kind of deals, so I guess it really comes down to the mode of payment you'll prefer. My brother considered thinking about it too with those credit card deals so that he'll just pay monthly, but in the end he just decided to just try to save money for it, which is why he'll go the kimstore route. .

looks like that's really one greatly critical decision to make. he even had to consider if it's worth thinking about it.
kidding kidding

anyway, would it be too much to ask new members to avoid posting useless links here?

(Bono, it's not directed at you. There's a newly registered member who posted some biz link not directly related to the Z1)

If Nokia can bring RAW to their 1020 and upcoming 1520, SONY better give us raw on the Z1 too!!!!

I agree with most of his review except about the lowlight though, I checked the sample photos he took, and there was only one lowlight photo and it wasn't even focused right. Imgur stripped the exif so I don't know what the ISO and SS are either. Anyway Z1 photo thread already has some nice lowlight samples.

Screen is not a problem for me even with his review unit I'm perfectly fine with that screen, although I do understand his point since other phones there do give out great viewing angles, and Z1 is a flagship phone, so yeah fair point.

As for him saying that the ip58 does not go with glass and that there's tendency to break Z1, I completely disagree, the IP58 is what makes Sony devices stand out from the competition and make the Z1 a unique phone. Flagships from different brands are all pretty much the same running similar processors, having similar screens and the same os and the same features you would expect to get from an android device.

All I can say it WOW!!!!!!!! Really feels premium the Z1 and performs like no other Sony I have used before. Truly an excellent device. Absolutely nothing wrong with the screen at all or viewing angles people just whine too much. And camera is great too but not got the latest update as yet.

Taking pics of the phone just doesn't do it justice.
