My son cant read that much yet, but he cant keep away from books! My wife keeps saying its because of my addiction to books. He loves playing with my PC's keyboard and mouse too (you would think he could use them!).

I read about the SMS Bible thing in Australia. Could help, but methinks there is a need for personal commitment to reading. My church sends out a daily SMS devotional to members, but I dont see that as an alternative to personal study.

The PC and mobile phone are plausible tools in developing a reading culture though. Books are scarce and expensive here. But at least lots of people have mobile phones.

Given time it could very well prove to be the solution, AYA. There are loads of sites with thousands of public domain ebooks, all totally free... This message was posted from a Nokia

@Tahir: What's misleading about MTN using iBurst in an Apple iBook? Even the WirelessMonkey uses Sentech's MyWireless in his Apple iBook. The issues seems to be with Apple...try using your Vodafone 3G card with the any Apple device and you'll come back telling me something else.

You'd think that Apple would be more flexible/accomodating in that regard... This message was posted from a Nokia

Any day now there should be a special adaptor that one plugs into the USB port to able to to accomodate the data card.

I was wrong!!!

On closer inspection...the Apple PowerBook can accomodate the MTN 3G data card.

I should say this before the WirelessMonkey comes to the defense of Apple.

I've got a couple of pics I want to share with you guys from the Go See Film Expo but can't because somehow the BT on the LG won't find the computer...really weird behaviour.

The reason I'm using the LG is due to the fact that my girlfriend has borrowed my phone for the day to take some pics.

Talking about ebooks:does anyone know of a free site which offers ebooks for free?I am interested in science/mathematics (calculus) and flying/gliding. A wap site would be ideal :-) This message was posted from a WAP device

Kryptik: What's the deal with eBooks? Ok you can download them but reading them on a cellphone's relatively small screen must be a mission or is this something that only people with smartphones can appreciate?

BTW, I've never owned a smartphone.
