I'd like to think more than one phone would be announced, there have been some pretty strong rumours surrounding this summer.
One of the ones I remember most is the
"Sony Ericsson will have a phone out this summer with an accelerometer" rumour, plus there has been no high-end releases so far this year so, we would be right to expect these to be announced next.

And something tells me this one is UIQ. Looks at the special key placement under the screen. The three white lines under the screen indicate the same UI as the Moto Z8!

Seriously though all I hear is dates being pushed back.
1st week of Feb, then Feb 12 then March, then early April. If the things not coming out till October or even 2008 then i wouldnt expect an announcment till June July time.

All those dates to start with are just people who assumed and are not from reliable sources, and to add to it were just rumors and not official announcements, so technically only you are to be blame for hoping on non official information.
If SE were the one who said announcement to be on the 1st of Feb and pushed it back until now... that's something else.

look at the layout on the Z8.
Thanks for posting that. Im 99% now certain this will be my next phone it has everything i need.
Decent 2mp camera, 30fps video plus excellent video playback and standby time of 380 hours. Apparantly Moto will put a full film on the suplied 512 card to demonstrate its capabilities.
I had no intention of going for Moto lol
