Don’t know about other Vaio Models but My lappy has a safe in it tagged as “MY Safe” where you can store highly important files, and only accessible to lappy’s administrator (which is me)
well! it opens only with my finger print. And problem is, its not working
I have checked “Protector Suit QL” and its working fine so there is no problem with lappy’s Sensor/Print scanner (its hardware is working fine) but still when ever ma clicks “MY SAFE” it doesn’t respond. In normal condition, “My Safe” being clicked opens another window which demands for finger prints. But now nothing happens. I have Restore window once… (Restore stands for that Restore Point available in System Tool->System Restore) but still no effect. What should I do? I have been storing my all Pics and important files in it. Please..! Please!! Please!!! Somebody help me!!! :’(

I bought a K850i unlocked from Orange. Now I want to debrand it to get rid of Ornage stuff and get the regular Sony Ericsson stuff. So please guide me how to.

Follow this procedure to troubleshoot issues when trying to open My Safe.
1. Ensure the UPEK® Protector Suite™ QL fingerprint software is running.
2. In the My Documents folder for your User account, double-click My Safe .
NOTE: The Fingerprint prompt [FIG. 1] window will be displayed.
3. Swipe your finger across the fingerprint sensor.
NOTE: After a few moments, the My Safe window will be displayed. If the Fingerprint error [FIG. 2] window is displayed, try to swipe your finger again. If there are three failed attempts at swiping a finger, the Protector Suite My Safe window is displayed.
4. In the Protector Suite My Safe window, next to Bypass password: , enter the bypass password designated when My Safe was initialized.
NOTE: If the bypass password has been lost, try this procedure again with a different finger enrolled for the same account.
