W825
A W810 successor. (Betty)
i think it will have thies specs
The K750i, and correspondingly the W810i will be replaced only in the end of 2006, the next model will distinguish with a QVGA-screen, a 3MP camera, support for all possible Bluetooth profiles (but you still will be forbidden to scan other devices and their file structure), expanded memory card (512 MB), stereosound like in the W550i and support for UMTS. The phone size will be comparable with the K750, and only about two mm thicker. And also that will be the first phone built on a new interface maximum compatible with Nokia UI. It is probable that one more intermediate product called Betty will appear on this way.

I said they looked like touch-sensitive soft keys. Hmm, interesting. I hope there will be a non-UIQ version of the 5.0MP cam too.
There will. Don't worry
but when??
This year.

Please note, that it says it should be replaced at the end of 2006. There has been no replacer yet. Which makes me think, they aren't going to launch this phone Eldar was talking about. He's often quite good with his dates, so they must have stopped it.

The W810i and K750i are still big sellers for Sony Ericsson, maybe this is what has delayed their replacement?

Could be. But then

should have delayed K810, too. And perhaps this is why Sofia isn't out yet.

If more mileage can be extracted from a current model, such as the K800i, would that necessarily hold back the introduction of a more advanced model?
I mean, we could understand why the release of the K810i could be delayed if the K800i continued to perform well sales-wise.
However, the K850i and K800i/K810i would hardly be in the same price bracket would they?

AFAIK, Betty is code name for K790. Although some call it "Evita".

You're right. Betty was the codename of K790 and Wilma was the codename of K800. Pretty funny actually

Yes, I think that would hold them back a bit. Same thing was with Ericsson - they didn't think the world was ready for color screens in cell phones. Just give

some time.
Not, I don't think K850 and K800/K810 will be in the same price bracket. K850 will be around $100 - $150 more expensive, AFAIK.

According to this thead, by our friend S4K1S:

......Evita was the codename for the K790i. I seem to remember this being confirmed on here just before the phones were announced.
