^Haven't seen any leaks suggesting a 5,8" Xperia. 4,6" 5,2 and 5,5" were documented. If I had to guess I would say the difference in specs between 5,2" Z5 and 5,5" Plus Version will be 1GB more RAM (4GB total), QHD display and bigger battery (3200-3400mAh).

Seems the note 5 will not be sold in europe this year, so wonder if this is the reason the Z5+ is not coming until later since Sony knew this? Guess anyone who wanted to buy a note 5 will either have to settle for the edge6+ or import the note 5.

If Sony don't capitalize on the crapolla note 5 they're idiots. The note 5 is, to many it seams, a 'downgrade' of the note 4, and I'm still slightly confused whether the s6 edge + is meant to be the note 5 edge or just a bigger version of the s6 edge.
Oh and I hope Sony don't follow the crowd with the whole plus thing for the bigger version, I much prefer the ultra moniker!

The S6 edge+ is going to replace the Note series. The Note 5 will not be available in many major markets like Europe (first step of "Note-line-cord clamping"). The majority of people don't use the S-Pen (at-least not after a certain "look what I can do with my Note" time). So why should Samsung pay for a whole software engineering team if they can replace the Note line with something simple as a bigger S6? Sure there will be pissed power users who will look for something different but in contrast the new design line will attract more style orientated consumers. Enough Samsung talk.
Sony doesn't need a Note competitor, no overloaded S-Pen features and such stuff. They need a high class not so big (5,5"-5,7") stylish phablet which can compete in terms of hardware (camera, battery,storage...) and design. And yes, the Z5+ looks kinda promising.

The thing is, I think most people are not interested in the edge devices and not in the s pen either. i think most people who want to buy samsung choose s6 over s6 edge and people who want to buy samsung phablet will prefer note 5 over s6 edge plus because even if they don't use the s pen they can just ignore it but they can't ignore the curved dge. s6 just feel more comfortable in hand then s6 edge to me, the edge curve is kind of annoying when light is reflected on the display, some reviewers say it causes some unwanted presses when you hold the device and it also costs more. well, nothing is perfect but i don't see why z devices needs a stylus and curved edge display features mostly for those reasons. with that said, a stylus would be less of an irritant and seem to be a bit more useful if used.
