There is a new update tool update service II here you can get the latest firmware for the K750i and W800i.

The older SEUS don't support the K750i any more. With the SEUS i get as latest R1N and now with the newer update service II i have the R1AA008 version.

i got this prob with R1N, but its after turning the media player off while the headsets are on but not inbetween mp3s.

well the obvious it out... everyone is really pissed off with R1N and all its irony. and everyone needs something to get rid of it... thats why the server is too busy.

Ive noticed these changes just this day. I tried updating my fon using SEUS2, like around 11am (Manila, Philippines time), tried updating another fon around 2pm... busted! its busy.

again, tried checkin davinciteam.com 10am, still no querries for R1AA, then checked back 12noon, saw that R1AA files have been uploaded.

so everyone is divin to the pool. i guess others hafta stay till the water calms down.

Nop.
The hissing problem occurs when a low level / volume song is played.
Try to low the volume to 1 bar, and the hissing "will" be heard.
It did not happen in R1A044.
IMO, there's improvement in R1A088.

same here! i noticed some strange distortions in sound when talking at first call after updating to r1aa008. I was not sure is it me or maybe my phone dying, but now it looks like it is one more "optimisation" of new firmware, you can hear same effect when listening mp3s at very low voulume...really, i want r1l back

Pffff... I had a big fight with my W800i and the so called improved update service last night!!! I got the goddamn script error message at the last green bar... I tried everything (MSD in... MSD out... settings reset... reset all... etc) but it wouldn't update... everytime I got the same error!!! And of course the phone was f***ed like with the previous update tool. But the last time I tried I had my MSD in (I don't know if this matters, but just for the record), I did a master reset all... when the reset was complete (I did NOT let the phone start up) I took out the battery just before the phone came to the point of selection "Phone only or music only", did the update for the last time..... and it updated perfectly!!! Result... new update.... but NO Dutch phone language... but luckily it does have Dutch T9.

I'm disappointed that SE didn't fix this bug (I had the same problem with the old update, but the master reset fixed it all and I had my language back.. no problem). I will probably NEVER use this update again... horrible times when your phone seems dead!!

Can anyone confirm that they have managed to achieve an update of an O2 branded K750i with the stand alond SEUS client. I believe that the client goes through the motions of appearing to update, but restores the R1N035 firmware.

Also can anyone confirm any improved bluetooth functionality with the new firmware, in particular correct backward compatibility with BT1.1 rather than just the newer (and mostly unsupported) BT2.0. In ny opinion, this inability to properly connect with BT devices, specifically in car handsfree devices, is the most serious failing with this handset; this is a fundamental safety issue with the 'phone, not simply an added extra.
