I really hope a HSDPA features a lot in any upcoming phones, Sofia is supposed equipped with it.
At the moment there are only about 5 HSDPA phones on the market.

UIQ 3.1 Is for non touch screen UIQ devices, like the moto Z8. So you cant expect the p990 succesor to be non touch screen.

UIQ 3.1 is just a feature pack over UIQ 3.0...apps are compatible...you can read at UIQ.com, UIQ 3.1 is an "adition to UIQ3 family". Also, UIQ3 alows both touchscreen and non touchscreen phones, and obviously its the same with UIQ 3.1
If UIQ 3.1 is the new feature pack of UIQ3, its logic next smartphones from SE to carry UIQ 3.1 instead of UIQ3, just like newest nokias will carry s60 v3 with feature pack 3

and 2MP CMOS sensors aren't that much more expensive than 1.3MP (3-5usd)
choice of resolution in future low end phones would depend more on the processing power and size than the camera module itself
