Timescape is awesome! I really love it! I have over 900 contacts on fb and it runs soooo smooth!
Txting gets used to after using the X1 qwerty for over a year and a half, but I'm getting used to it now! Build quality is amazing aswell!
Sound quality is good, not amazing but it's so much better than the iPhone

I agree. Timescape is fast even though with huge contacts in facebook.
And yes, coming from resistive screen user (x1) typing is something that need to get used to.

Is music quality really that bad?? Will there be no equalizer dor it just like the vivaz's?
I love the mobile, and may buy it, but the not multiotouch, the lack of radio and this..stop me.I can't understand why NO radio from the baginning, not app like iphone..I ca not understand with a unit that is soo fantastic, SE and per almost 600e!

from what I understand, vivaz has an equalizer app that can be used. Currently X10 doesn't have an equalizer and those who have it can probably confirm this. Though, an equalizer app being ported to android if one doesn't already exist, probably isn't improbable.

-no radio.. kind of a bummer. but there's an app for that or use an MW600.
- lack of MT... how important that is to you is up to you i guess.

Comments (bold and italic) added to Saka's post, to put things in perspective.

No equalizer (might come later)
No FM radio
No multi-touch
No front camera (same as pretty much every Android phone on the market)
No XENON flash (same as pretty much every Android phone on the market, most have LED flashes if any at all)
No HD recording (same as every Android phone on the market)
No 16M colors (might come later)
No Android 2.1 (might come later)
Not saying the X10 is perfect... far from it. Just want to show how some of the points above compare to other phones in this price category (or across all Android phones for that matter).

@synn

Very intreresting find, particularly as the SE guy that wrote it is from Tech-Support. As discussed much of the info which it seems has been trickling out about these subjects has come from people with a non-technical background...

Fingers crossed.

Glad to hear that the User Experience of those who've already made the leap to X10 is so positive, looking forward to my upgrade...

Also I meant to say that in comparing HW features to other Android phones, it would seem to me that if the X10 does support BT Handsfree inc. voice dialling, as I took the specs from the White Paper I quouted earlier, then I think it would be the only Android handset to do so out of the box?

I'm in the UK and doesn't expect much included in the box. Can someone tell me where I could buy a nice leather slip case for X10?

Does anyone know if the X10 screen is scratch resistant like say the HTC HD2?

I don't really want to be messing about with screen protectors or invisheilds because the plastic always goes manky.
