no one has bt here
damn them, they r all happy with ancient ericssons/moto and nokia 3390s
everyone who has a T68i dont know they hv BT, so that isnt enabled either...
I leave my P800 on discoverable.. so that I can get bluejacked and can begin a BJ (that doesnt look right) war...
sad thing is, ppl dont see that the p800 is a phone.. everyone asks me what kind of computer I hv.. and when I tell em it's a smart phone, they answer "it's a computer that can call"
and I feel like taking advantage of the fact I hv such a big phone and whacking them!
the new cool phone to hv here in montreal is the
VTech A700
put in a picture cuz I dont expect ppl to know what this thing is.. they think it's cool cuz it has an orange screen.. go figure!
what kind of phone needs to specify that it has a clock as a main feature?!?!?
and I do get ppl saying that that paperweight is cooler than my P800
they make me so mad :angry:
n e one else has problems with ignorants like this? and if so, how do u deal with em?

@fijbert: here in Portugal there are also narrow minded people... I don't give a sh*t about what they think. I just ignore them
@Wookee:
Right you are m8! Blind bluejacking has undoubtly the lowest risk, but I prefer the risky method
By the way, that scenario you’ve pictured is quite cool!
Now that
jacking has established itself and is broadly accepted within the ever growing
community, one could write all sorts of literature or gather some kinda Compendium regarding the ethics behind this practice
, tutorials
, testimonials, optimal procedures to achieve the ultimate Holy Graal in
jacking, etc…
Many of you expressed your disagreement towards
jacking. I assume that everyone around here is responsible for their actions, so
jacking should not be censored but, instead, users should.
C’mon’!
jacking is not yet classified as “mass destruction weaponry” so that UN guys start sniffing ones butt because of its malicious use.
After a short brainstorming session, here is the “keep it short and simple” definition I’ve came up with (yeah, it’s lame, but someone has to come up with these things
):
Bluejacking: interactive short-distance communication process.
And as a communication tool,
jacking can be used as an “ice breaker” in every days relationships
Or as a physical approach (literally if things go out wrong. POW! Smacked!
)
Now, what is the real purpose of
jacking? To piss others off? To enhance your “superiority”? Basically, to have fun, right?
Then, have fun! Tough luck of the “visible”
users! There’s always the possibility of not accepting the bluejack message or simply turning your BT off…!
“Keep on bluejackin’ in a free world”

@shithappens:
does u're phone work better with r7a? i'm asking this 'cause i think my phone isn't compatible with most bricks with r2a...
that's why i can't bluejack that 7650, i think... my greatest
jackin' achievments have been made only with 6310... ajack has been known to do it to any phone that is on
what's the sw version of the sucessful
jacker.
i really think my rate is so low because of sw...

I haven't been able to find a nokia users yet, but I (T68i, R5D001) tried something with a friend of mine and his T39.
I found his T39, but I could only send my own business card to him.
- How can you send a message
- and how can you send any contact/businesscard to someone?
Could someone explain it (couldn't find it in this thread...)

Could we consider a bluejack successful if I was able to send a "Bokia sucks! blah blah" contact to a 6310 and never really knew who the person was?
I did it while I was walking in a busy mall. Sent the contact to an unsuspecting "Nokia 6310" and went walking past my victim.
So, is that 1 point for me? LOL

Greetz!
@cyanx7: so far I only
jacked 7650 bricks. Never came up with other
enabled phones
My t68i FW version is R2A0014, so that's not a cause for unsucessful
jacking. Sometimes distance or physical obstacles are a cause for that...
@Danaq: are you trying to send a Picture Message to a t39 (.wbmp)? Or just a .gif or .jpg? I usually send .jpg or gifs if I have the chance. Never sent any contact/business cards, but I'm planning to send a calendar note with some weird stuff like "Fatal Error. Bad RAM boot sector. Originated by HateNokia.pif (Root module A00052/3Z)".
My only question is:
are
calendar notes compatible with 7650? The purpose is to send a "time bomb" message that would freak the
jacked
@adrktemplar: you got yourself 1 point! Keep it up!

@adrktemplar- what you have done is the very nature of bluejacking. congratulations. welcome to the elite club of BJ'ers
@Necrosis- I like the guide to Bluejacking, allthough it does only show the nicer side of bluejacking. remember there is a nasty side.
On which note- a question:
What are the protocols regarding bluejacking in Israel? I think it could result in a rather nasty helecopter gunship attack, what with Bluetooth being a military band width over there.
Perhaps someone should try it?
