^^^Yeah, the C902 has it too. I don't see why it sucks. It really is nothing at all. It's still useable and as soon as you go out of it and come back, it's back to normal. I think its just kinda funny.

I've just discovered the Energy Black C702 even if it appeared already some time ago... So it's not a new thing but I have to say that I like it very much... It's not boring like the Speed Black but looks more serious than the Cool Cyan...

I am having my phone like for 5 days now, and it have fresses 2 times, when i was on the media listening and going to the next song, it goes very very slow at first then fresses and it goes to a black screen and nothing was working like it was off..
Then it start asking me the language mode, to set the time,,etc..its weird.
Sometimes is running slow, like i wasnt specting for this phone,,why is that, cn someone expian me about updates and about my problem issue?

oh i forgot: i thought this phone can run the instant messaging withouth internet saervice, is it true?? Cause my old samsung phone have the option to go to ICQ yahoo messenger and hotmail msn and i can conect withouth having internet, but they only change me by the texts..., with this phone i cant, should i have to configure sometin g r i need the intenert service?

To chech your firmware version go to Menu > Settings > Update software > Check software version. The phone will connect to SE's database and search for any newer (official) updates. Careful if you've never flashed your phone before.

to check your firmware version : menu - settings - general - update services - software version
to update your firmware : use SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service).
download SEUS from SE Website.

Whoops thanks for correcting me. Btw do you know if there is a firmware version newer than R3BH002 but is also stable? Heard that R3CA still has some bugs.

R3CA037 is a lot more stable compared to R3BH002.
afaik, there is new firmware for C702 --> R3DA029, but not available for all region yet.

yes, you need internet service on your PC to update via SEUS.
also do i need internet service to get on the instant messaging???
