You had better check the Imobile 902 which has CCD sensor and captures amazing low light shots.

2 years old and still kicks all the others competitors.
Funny thing is that the sensor is Sony's. Well, it's obvious SE wasn't established to compete the market but to make money. SAMART, a thai company succeeded creating the best camera phone in 2006 - the imobile 902. If it had some support or at least multi-language interface, i'll buy it for sure.
think c902 doing pretty well, (easily one of the best night cameras ive tried)

^complex for some users?? Areyou trying to say, that people who did not like the N82 are idiots?? LOL.
Far from that dude. Pathetic keypad, stupid designing and WSOD probs. Thanx, Happy with C902.
Who said that??? ME?!?!?!?!?! Are you blind????
Better you think about what are you write....
I said complex and i repeat that... because need use manual config for a good shoot (Hard mode, vivid color saturation, ISO and etc...)... what the problem about that???
I'm... i said I'M happy with my N82, if you are happy with your C902... good for you... I dont have any problem with SE phones (maybe you have with N82 or another brand phones... maybe because you are a SE dude...
).
N82 is more of a phone with 5mp camera, GPS, Wi-fi... is a game phone, look this game:
http://www.projectnext.eu/mai[....]ng-2-0-by-gameloft/index2.html
AMAZING for one phone!!!
Everyone have your opinion and this is need be respected...
So... take easy man.

"N82 complex for some users"
Are you implying I am an idiot?
The phone is not complex at all, well it shouldn't be. Nokia can't design a menu system to save their lives. Yeah it can take nice pictures, the best low light pictures I have seen actually. But as I said, I wouldn't keep a phone just because it has a "good" camera. The build quality is rubbish, the navi pad was awful, the keys uncomfortable, very chunky, colour of the phone wasn't nice..... etc etc you get the picture. It's not just about the camera.
I am very happy with the overall package the C902 gives me. It is a bonus to me that it takes such nice pictures.
Great pics people, I will post some up soon.
Another one... god dammit.... I not said idiot (what you see this?) but if u feel like one, that isn't my problem.
Peace and be happy everyone with yours phones... hehehehee

plank,
Do you still use document mode on ur C902?
I think so. They're different to the characteristic of
mlkj's photos here. The document ones are sharper, esp when resized, but makes (some kinda) dots occur in the objects' textures.

I agree with that. I was wondering what was the deal with all those 1024x768 photos when I knew that the camera was capable of larger than that...

Can you please upload this picture in full size? I want to see the details...
Check the imobile's full size picture, it kept the details with a bit of noise. Moreover, I would really like some of the forums members to compare the xenon flashes of N82 and Imobile 902 (AbuBasim?:)) in complete darkness, it's very interesting to see which phone can handle better.

Trying to get full size photos from plankis is like squeezing blood from a stone

The flash on the i-mobile 902 is the weakest part of the camera. It is too weak to be useful for almost anything. The only flash photos that turn out well are slow-sync flash shots.
Here's an example of a flash shot in complete darkness. The distance to the end of the room is less than 3 meters. My son's bike on the left is about one meter away. To get this level of brightness I had to use ISO 200 and bump up the EV to +2.
As you see noise goes up with ISO 200. For these kind of shots I prefer to shoot in black and white.
